The Frog Island Waste Management Facility, sited on the Thames, includes a series of waste recycling facilities together with supporting offices and a visitor/education centre. The development has been designed to respect the prominence of the riverside setting. A veil of timber cladding has been employed as a common architectural treatment to temper the industrial aesthetic and to create a visually unified 'family' of buildings.
