Grange Park Opera House at Northington in Hampshire comes to life for a brief season each summer within the romantic surrounds of a Scheduled Historic Monument Greek Revival mansion with a distinguished architectural history. Over a period of seven years the site, which lay derelict for many years, was transformed into a hugely successful venue comprising a 500 seat traditional horseshoe auditorium with all the attendant facilities expected of a first class opera house. The works were carried out without interruption to the annual season.
