As part of West Lothian Council’s Open Space Sports Facilities Strategy, Studio E has been commissioned to design sports and changing facilities at three separate sites in Scotland. Eliburn is a new park incorporating three football pitches, a changing pavilion, landscaped play areas and the regeneration of an existing burn and footbridge. Craigswood involves the development of a football and athletic changing pavilion, along with spectator seating overlooking an athletics track and 6 football pitches, with the Limefield site requiring a new football changing pavilion. All facilities have been design with a strong sustainable agenda to reduce the impact of the new buildings in the recently regenerated green spaces.
